| The Runaways. I'll erase the opening sequence from my memory and say it's a great fucking movie. You gotta love lil tomboy Joan Jett. And it doesn't bother me at all that Kristen Stewart also played in that movie about bicurious vampires because I don't watch movies about bicurious vampires. She is great in this movie, and she is a good actress. Perfect cast. | |

(I wanna hear Electric Wizard cover "The Acid Queen". that could be turned into somethiung REALLY fucked up & on time) That idea is pure genius. I've always wanted to play in a band that covers really far out shit. This song would be perfect. I am so bored of covering the same tunes everybody covers. But try and convince a metal band to cover something like that the only times you get covers from other musical genres, it's "ironic" covers, like a detah metal version of seomwhere over the rainbow or whatever. It's good for a laugh, but the joke is old before the song is over. I wish there were more musicians around like there were in the 60s and 70s. People would do all kinds of weird shit just to see what it feels like. Btw I love the Tina Turner version of Acid Queen from the Tommy movie. God she was such a great singer when Ike was still beating her up uh sorry bout that joke

Yeah, but this is Joan's movie. And having seen the movie, I could make one or two guesses why Lita doesn't get the most role. Btw don't listen to Lita's last album or read any recent interviews, you'll only be very, very disappointed

The other girls wouldn't release the rights to their life story for the movie, so their role's were minimalized. I read a story about it awhile back, I will try to find it!

Yeah. Its hard to get the "metal" crowd to cover anything tasteful. Thats another reason why I quit playing with bands. If its not screaming at the top of the lungs, and chainsaw distortion, double kick drums, and playing 500 mile an hour kiddy stuff..they wont learn it or learn FROM playing other things. Im 33 (well 34 soon) and quite frankly, have grown out of the super scream agressive teenage angst bullshit. It gets old. Especially when you're trying to find places to play at. Plus, I want to do more "grown up" kinda things. It sucks when people ask "What do you play" ..and they automatiically think its scream-tard stuff. Stuff can be heavy, without all the childish stuff. Some of the heaviest songs I know of, are slow, not super saturated with gai / distortion, and have no screaming / attitude bullshit in em at all. I think alot (not all) of "metal" players get stuck in that teenage mind set, & never come out of it / grow into other things. I liked Tina's perormance as well. I still say, anyone who digs The Who needs to check out their Isle Of Wight performance. Good stuff.

| Stone intense movie – really liked it. absolutely outstanding performances by deniro, norton and jovovic. haven't seen deniro that good in quite a while, norton nailed just every single scene. the movie itself is rather quite but in a good way. there's not too much happening, leaves room for the characters to develop. | |

| Black Swan totally blew me away, i still can't believe what an intense movie that was. only aronofsky could pull that off. probably his best one yet, i liked it even better than pi. natalie portman was amazing, really just a great movie overall! The Fighter wasn't too great but certainly not bad either, bale was fantastic in it, also wahlberg did quite a good job. it just didn't happen all that much in the movie, still pretty watchable though. | |

| Never got around to seeing The Losers at the cinema ... picked it up cheap on dvd the other day ... watched it last weekend - it was EXCELLENT!!! Like the A team without the big names ... good cast - Jeffrey Dean Morgan Idris Elba Chris Evans Zoe Saldana Jason Patrick playing a text-book-baddie Great fun - some fabulous laugh-out-loud moments ... The sniper guy - specialist in "Long-range-eliminations" he was COOL .... "never touch the hat ...." Highly recommend this | |

I agree, watched it two times already. It's so much fun to watch out for signs the second time around. But the Wrestler is still my favorite Aronofski flick, because it is based on very small, real life details and very very good acting and I love it What a director!
