Sorry I haven't been around much lately!

So i had pretty much given up hope on getting a job this school year, since all of the schools had started and I hadn't had a single interview. Then all of a sudden a week and a half in to school, the middle school that I went to called me - asked me to come in in 1 hour - offered me the job - and I started the next day!! It has been CRAZY! I am so happy! I haven't stopped running around like a chicken with my head cut off since that day! I barely even had a chance to post much about it on my FB!

I debated whether to post about it because I know that a lot of mi amigos on here are going through some real shit storms right now and I don't want to feel like I am...I unno rubbing it in or somethin. But then I remembered that you guys are awesome and you'd be happy for me no matter what My "real life" friends have been pretty shitty lately and it makes me appreciate you guys like x1000.

Congratulations! And of course you should share good news! We all need reminders that everything isn't crap all the time.

Aw, I'm sorry girl. Good luck! My sister's dog bounced back from it. Sending virtual belly rubs his way.

Physiotherapy works a charm. After three weeks of the knee being totally useless, just the first three days of therapy and extensive training at home + three hours of walking per day got me back to walking normally. Also, while the knee usually stays a little unstable permanently, the therapist says with my healing powers and muscle building tendencies I have great chances to get back to 100% stability by next summer. At the moment, it still feels frighteningly unstable and I twist it from time to time, but it's getting better by the day. These guys do an awesome job

Aye - Physioterrorists are awesome people - more money should go into funding for them - if we had a stronger programme of physio's to help people recover from injuries, there wouldn't be so much sickness. Waiting lists for seeing a physio in the UK can be ridiculously long ... NOT good ...

Thanks, and I agree. It must be a very rewarding job, too.
You work in a calm, pleasent environment with people, and you help them and see progress every day.
Last night was a bit of a backlash though. Cramps and pain all night. But it feels fine now, and I'll just have a lazy day.
